Reasons why I don’t want to do it:
- Time
- Aggravated knee and back
- Desire
- Sweating
3 major reasons fail to comply:
Act like a scientist-Question the validity that doing x will do what it is supposed to-find counter data to support my hypothesis that it won’t!
Act like an economist-pros and cons, if I do x then y. Does the benefit outweigh the cost?
Act like a personologist-this is my choice and you can’t take that away from me, fatalistic beliefs, only thing I can control
I wrote this around the same time that I wrote the poem People Watching. Can any of you relate? Sometimes when we allow external events to distract us and throw us off course, even if we know something is good for us we self-sabotage. Even with all my training, knowledge and spiritual practice it can still happen. We are all human and need to allow the same understanding for ourselves as we would another. Tomorrow is another day.
